THE BELL was built as a Party leisure boat in 1992 ,she was originally called the Swallow  weighing18 ton empty of passengers, she is the longest boat on the Macclesfield and Peak Forest Canals , 72ft long and 7ft wide.
She first plyed the waters on the Llangollen Canal and then Craned and Transported to the Lancaster canal where she sailed from Carnforth to Lancaster every day as a water taxi. Mark and Anita purchased the Swallow in May 2010 as an addition to the Ring O' Bells Public house and restaurant and while out of the water renamed her THE BELL.
She was craned and transported down the M6 motorway to Macclesfield on a 100ft trailer and then sailed into Marple on 18th may 2010.
